Wednesday May 28, 2014- 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.: Site historique maritime de la Pointe-au-Père open to visitors for the 2014 season.
- 6 p.m.: Banquet and opening show: Vivez le dernier voyage de l’Empress of Ireland et les années 1910/Relive the final voyage of the Empress of Ireland and the 1910s. - Hôtel Rimouski -
- 1:55 a.m.: Church bells in Rimouski, Sainte-Luce and neighbouring parishes will ring in unison for one minute.
- 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.: Site historique maritime de la Pointe-au-Père open to visitors.
- 10 a.m.: Boat excursion to wreck site onboard the Gabrielle C.

- 4 p.m.: Live broadcast of Le monde aujourd’hui.
- 4:30 p.m.: Unveiling of commemorative coin and stamp (with Canada Post and the Royal Canadian Mint). - Hangar 14 -
- 5 p.m.: Inauguration of commemorative monument in the presence of descendants of Captain Kendall (Empress of Ireland) and Captain Andersen (Storstad). - S.H.M.P. -
- 6 p.m.: Live broadcast of Radio-Canada’s Téléjournal.
- 6 p.m.: Live radio broadcast of L’heure du monde.
- 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.: Site historique maritime de la Pointe-au-Père open to visitors.
- 9:15 a.m.: Empress of Ireland theatrical production by students from
Saint-Yves school in Rimouski. - Paul-Hubert school -
- 10 a.m.: Ceremony at Canadian Pacific monument.
- 10 a.m.: Boat excursion to wreck site onboard the Gabrielle C.

- 11 a.m.: Presentation by Karen Autio (Canadian Pacific and immigration in Canada). -Hangar 14 - English only.
- 1:30 p.m.: Presentation of a new documentary about the wreck of
the Empress of Ireland (in collaboration with Société Radio-Canada). - Hangar 14 -
- 4 p.m.: Conversations with descendants of passengers, crew members and Rimouski residents. -Hangar 14 -
- 6 p.m.: Cocktail/social. -Hangar 14 -
- 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.: Site historique maritime de la Pointe-au-Père open to visitors .
- 10 a.m.: Gathering of members and descendants of The Salvation Army. Open to all members and
descendants of Salvation Army (limited to 100 guests). - Hôtel des Gouverneurs -
- 10 a.m.: Boat excursion to wreck site onboard the Gabrielle C.

The Concerts aux Îles du Bic chamber music festival joins the Site historique maritime de la Pointe-au-Père
to offer you a music-filled lunch cruise to the site of the wreck of the Empress of Ireland.
